The “Bachelorette” 2013 premiere aired on May 27. Desiree
Hartsock returned to the very mansion where former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe broke
her heart. Just like with Sean's season
of The Bachelor, they started The Bachelorette's season off with Desiree's
shirt off, which was just fantastic. I'm
only hoping this is a running theme throughout the season.
Coming up with an "original" entrance is never
a good idea. The guys proved it this
season with the most memorable ones being sent home. Arrivals ranged from wearing no shirt to
wearing a full suit of armor. We saw a
magician, a poet, a dude on a motorcycle, a father who brought is son, and a
creep who kept talking about the fantasy suite.
Des followed Sean's lead by giving out roses before the
actual ceremony. The first four went to
Ben the father, Shirtless Zak, Military Brydan, and Drew.
Jonathan got thrown out before the rose ceremony for
trying to get Desiree into a private room that he called his "honeymoon
suite." He might be the creepiest
guy in Bachelorette history.
